More and more users are looking to buy their scooters online; cheaper prices and wide selection are two of the most commonly stated reasons for this. The one overriding problem with buying online is not being able to test drive the scooter before purchase – you wouldn’t buy a car without a test drive so why would you want to buy without trying a scooter that can cost as much as £3,000?

This has left consumers in a difficult position: either they buy site unseen or arrange a demo with a company they have no intention of buying from. The first option is unpalatable, and the second can feel awkward; either you have to be slightly dishonest about your intentions, or allow yourself to be bullied into making a purchase by a commissioned sales person.

At Value Mobility we have struggled with this problem for some time. Our aim is to provide mobility scooters at first class service at the lowest price; this means we reduce our costs at ever point to ensure we give you best value. Building the cost product demonstrations into every scooter didn’t fit with our ethos; why should someone replacing a scooter like for like have to bear the cost of a demonstration they don’t need?

We think we have a solution: our mobility scooter demonstration packs.

The Value Mobility scooter demo packs let you turn your home into a mobility showroom; an engineer will bring up to five scooters to your home for you to try with no obligation to buy. You will be able to try the scooters out and ask any question you have to our trained engineers, and send them away without having listen to any ‘hard sell’.

How can we do this without charging more for our scooters? By charging for the demonstration. Our demo packs cost £49 BUT if you do choose to buy on the day you will have the cost of the demo removed from the cost of the scooter; even if you choose not to buy on the day we will deduct the £49 for the cost of engineer delivery from a scooter should you choose to buy in the future!

Travel Scooter Demo Pack

This pack includes four of the top travel scooters on the market.

The Pride Go Go Elite outsells other scooter in the class for a reason; it is safe and stable and features one handed disassembly and interchangeable coloured panels. Its heaviest component weighs 35.5 lbs (16 kg) and its total weight without batteries is just 79 lbs (35 kg).

The newest of the four travel scooters, the TGA Eclipse features the build quality and style we have come to expect from TGA. The Eclipse features thoughtful design from the comfortable delta tiller to the rear mounted storage bag for your valuables. The Eclipse is backed with a best in class two year parts and labour warranty.

The Electric Mobility Rascal Liteway 4 is highly maneuverable and stable and offers features usually found on full sized scooters including a rugged tubular aluminium frame and full independent suspension. The Liteway 4 comes equipped with stylish alloy rims and an innovative under seat basket.

The last of the four travel scooters is the Sterling Pearl by Sunrise. The Pearl combines the range (15 miles per charge) and the carrying capacity (21 stone) of a mid sized scooter, with the light weight and easy

disassembly of a boot scooter. The Pearl also features a battery conservation function that puts the scooter in ‘sleep mode’ when not in use.

Mid Sized Scooter Demo Pack

This pack features four of the most versatile mobility scooters available today.

The Colt Plus is a 4mph 4 wheel scooter designed to combine style and function in a very cost effective package. The Pride Colt is comfortable and robust, yet very easy to dismantle for car transportation. It features a swivel seat, long leg room and offers good ground clearance.

The TGA Breeze Midi 4 is the compact version of the Breeze 4. The Breeze 4 Midi features modern looks, updated disc brakes, an orthopaedic seat and energy absorbing bumpers. The improved disc brakes are more responsive and include an emergency stop system should the user loses control of the vehicle.

The delta tiller has ‘Wig Wag’ lever controls and a gas assisted lever for quick adjustment of the tiller position; a crystal clear LCD display gives all the information the user requires in a single glance. The scooters charging socket doubles as access to the on board computer for updating.

Luxury Scooter Demo Pack

The TGA Breeze 4 is the benchmark against which other luxury scooters are measured. Manufactured by Afikim of Israel, the Breeze 4 is a scooter designed to go anywhere in comfort. The Breeze features oversized pneumatic tyres and full suspension giving a smooth and plush ride with enough ground clearance to clear most obstacles. The Breeze comes with both front and rear baskets; a quick release adjustable tiller; alloy wheels; and an advanced safety system.

The NHC Royale is one of the finest mobility scooters available today. Manufactured by Heartway, the Royale has features previously not seen on mobility scooters. The Royale has exceptional ride quality, with fully active independent suspension and extra large 16” wheels with pneumatic tires. Powered by dual 80 amp batteries the NHC Royale has a maximum range of 32 miles. The 1300 watt motor gives enough power to handle slopes up 12 degrees, and a maximum rider weight of 32 stone. The TGA Vita is the latest addition to the TGA stable. This 8mph mobility scooter is manufactured by Heartway, manufacturer of the NHC Royale, and lives up to their high standards of design and engineering. Like the Royale the TGA Vita borrows much of its styling from modern mopeds, but it is much more than just a great looking scooter.

The TGA Vita is powered by a high torque 700 watt motor that is comfortable in even the most demanding terrain. Excellent ride quality is ensured with Double-A arm suspension at the front and a single post shock absorber to the rear. Controls are of the highest standard, a motorcycle style emergency brake augmenting the traditional motor brake.

Looking more like a motor trike than a mobility scooter, the TGA Supersport has been turning heads for years. The Supersport is manufactured by Afikim, the same manufacturer as the excellent Breeze but offers something completely different. This three wheel scooter is a real work horse with a 31 stone weight capacity and 20 mile per charge range. The Supersport has superb stability and maneuverability, and is comfortable on almost all terrain due to its high ground clearance. The Supersport is the ideal scooter for those who won’t compromise on mobility.
